Geoffrey Young came into the office one day for a chat about his logo. He brought his sketchbook and his artists eye for detail, we got a good idea of what he was looking for, a logo and business card design to be exact.
Geoffrey had some awesome ideas, we used these and evolved it into an awesome mark that he can use to apply to his work as a type of signature.
Geoffrey takes his unique, geometric crossed with the rawness of nature ideas and turns them into one-of-a-kind bespoke furniture. This had to be evident in his mark, so we used the flowing curves of nature, contrasted with the hard angles of crafted timber to define a 'Y', symbolising ''Geoffrey Young.
The business cards took on a similar role, with these we highlighted some of his best work, and pulled that through into some similar geometric shapes to really showcase how different and intricate his work is.
